Edizioni Vulcaniche publishes high-quality books, crafted by hand, relying on the printers of the past.

Volcanic novels series:
“Don Ciccio’s Anguish” by Savatore Bonavita.
Don Ciccio Onorato, an old, atypical boss from a world that in the imagination is always synonymous with narrow-mindedness and ignorance, discovers that one of his two sons, rapidly rising within the clan, is gay. Despite his open-minded way of thinking, in the end the man finds himself having to choose between common sense and what “everyone expects”. The story, divided into three parts and rich in characters, unfolds on two levels; short narrative paragraphs alternating with flashbacks that often become a pretext to tell the city through protagonists, episodes and places of the past (Enrico Frattasio, producer of fake music cassettes spread under the brand Mixed by Erry; the Partenope Rugby team, winner of two league titles; La Mela, a trendy venue in the ’70s). All enriched by the narrating voice of Carmela, a long-time friend of the two boys, (almost!) engaged to one of them, whose remarks, caught during the recording of videos not yet released, represent a close and original point of view, dialect quips, seasoned with wisdom and irony.
Volcanic novels series:
“The Shadow of Maria d'Avalos” by Ciro Scognamiglio.
In Naples, a mystical, throbbing city, Teresa’s life—teacher and psychic—intertwines with the past. After the separation, Teresa tries to rebuild her life, guided by visions and messages from her great-grandmother, abandoned at the Foundlings’ Wheel. Her bond with the supernatural intensifies when she comes into contact with the ghost of Maria d'Avalos, victim of a tragic love. As Teresa rediscovers a pure love and her ex-husband turns into a danger, an enigmatic psychic warns her. Through the pain of women from the past, Teresa will have to face her destiny, choosing survival and redemption to break the chain of violence.
New Cooking and Culture series:
“Cook, love, eat… AMMAMMATO AMMAMMATO” by Ciro Salatiello and Peppe Iannicelli. Foreword by Maurizio de Giovanni.
With interior photographs.
“Ammammato Ammammato” is a journey into Neapolitan cuisine, told in its gastronomic, cultural, artistic and social aspects.
Born from the collaboration between chef Ciro Salatiello and journalist Peppe Iannicelli, the book blends the flavor of cooking with the pleasure of storytelling, weaving together recipes, history, traditions, myths, characters and emotions. The title evokes the perfect balance of Neapolitan cuisine: every ingredient finds its place, every dish is born from the “hand of the heart”, where feeling becomes the most important ingredient.
Between curiosities and in-depth insights, the reader will discover the origin of the most famous recipes, the symbolic value of dishes and encounters with figures such as Virgil, Caravaggio, Garibaldi, Maradona and Eduardo De Filippo. More than a cookbook, Ammammato Ammammato is a tribute to conviviality and Neapolitan identity, an invitation to share food as a gesture of love and peace.
